Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) have announced that the morning trading sessions of both the securities and derivatives markets have been delayed due to the issuance of Typhoon Signal No. 8.
However, a further announcement has been issued and trading in the securities and derivatives markets will resume from 1:00 pm on 23 September 2013. When the securities market resumes trading, there will be no pre-opening session. For those futures contracts to which the pre-opening session applies, the pre-opening session will commence 30 minutes before trading resumes.
