On 30th August 2018, routine maintenance of the Reserve Bank of Australiaβs fire control systems caused an interruption of power to the Bankβs main data centre.
The Reserve Bank of Australia has confirmed that retail and corporate customers are able to make and receive payments, including payments made through the New Payments Platform. Domestic payments, including pensions, are also being processed.
