Central Bank of Ireland: Financial Services Conference 2022

This event will bring together diverse perspectives from Central Bank of Ireland’s wide range of stakeholders – including industry leaders, consumer representatives, and international policymakers from Ireland and across the EU – to discuss and debate the driving forces shaping the financial system.

The conference will take place at the Aviva Stadium, Dublin. It will run for a full day on Wednesday 2 November and a half day on Thursday 3 November, finishing at lunchtime.

The theme of the conference will be Supporting the Economy, Delivering for the Consumer. Discussions will cover the challenges and opportunities facing the financial system, including climate change, consumer protection, innovation, disruption and regulation.

Keynote speakers will include:

  • Gabriel Makhlouf, Governor of Central Bank of Ireland
  • Paschal Donohoe TD, Minister for Finance
  • François Villeroy de Galhau, Governor of Banque de France
  • Mairead McGuinness, EU Commissioner for Financial Stability, Financial Services and the Capital Markets Union
  • Verena Ross, Chair of European Securities and Markets Authority

Other confirmed speakers include participants from industry, business, academia, and EU and international organisations.
