Dechert LLP – ESMA Guidelines on Marketing Communications: New Rules of the Road Webinar

ESMA recently published its final report on the guidelines on marketing communications under the Regulation on cross-border distribution of funds (Regulation (EU) 2019/1156). The guidelines include illustrative lists of what constitutes (and what does not constitute) marketing communications, certain mandatory requirements or statements to be included in the communications and some express information to be included depending on the fund’s strategy or the targeted investors. In this webinar, Dechert lawyers will give an overview of the guidelines, discuss the new rules of the road when it comes to marketing communications and advise where managers should be focusing their attention in advance of the February 2, 2022 implementation.
