Funds-Axis currently receive client data from a variety of different systems. These include online data providers, email, and FTP.

The preferred method of data transfer is sFTP. Details of Funds-Axis sFTP server can be found here.

Ideally data transfer to Funds-Axis and into the application is fully automated with no manual intervention as explained in Diagram 1 below. Achieving this can also be supported by the use of ETL tools for file renaming, transformation etc. Funds-Axis use Easymorph. Please see the Diagram 1 below for reference.

Where data is received other than by FTP, then an internal team will access and download the appropriate data from these systems, and make any required changes to the files received, for example renaming the file, or making internal format changes. Again Easymorph will be used where possible. Once these changes have been made, the data is uploaded to the FundWare application for processing and analysis. Please see diagram 2 below for an example.
